This photo won the Alaska Department of Fish and Game photo contest many-many years ago and ran across two pages in National Wildlife Magazine. Besides winning all this accolades, what amazes me about this photo is that I took it out of my car window while parked in the Juneau Empires parking lot. This shot will always remind me that I will never know where or when a really good photo is going to happen.
