“Bear Snuggle” – Photo Art Print P305
Anan Creek near Wrangell, Alaska, is one of my favorite places to photograph bears. This black bear cub found itself separated from its mother, so it climbed a tree and started bawling. The mother bear was at the creek catching pink salmon and came running when she heard her cub’s call. This image represents the incredibly affectionate and extremely tight mother-and-cub bond that exists in all species of bears – Camera: Nikon D800, Lens: Nikkor 80-400mm, Digital Capture, Hand-held ©Mark Kelley
