The top of Ealgecrest Ski Area is reporting 18 inches of snow this Veteran’s Day morning. One of my favorite snowshoe hikes is up Mt Troy right next door to Eaglecrest (the mountain to the left of the ski area). Much of the winter Eaglecrest sits in shadow while Mt Troy collects the vitamin D delivering sun. So when I want to shoot the sunshine, winter and pristine snow I head to Mt Troy. This photo illustrates the month of April in my Juneau 2010 calendar. Enjoy the photo and thanks for visiting.Camera body: Nikon D200, Lens: Nikkor 35-70mm f/2.8, Polarized, Digital Capture, ISO 200-Mark Kelley
