Berners Bay Aurora – Photo Art Print P215
On a clear winter night, I chased the Aurora all night between Eagle Beach and Echo Cove here in Juneau, Alaska, to finally shoot this image of the Aurora reflecting in Echo Cove. The reflection of the aurora in the waters of the Inside Passage in winter is pretty unique. When I go on northern light shoots in the interior it is so cold that all bodies of water are frozen solid and covered with snow. Indeed, to get a perfect aurora reflection the Inside Passage is the place to be. This image is also featured in the Mark Kelley Northern Lights Scarf.
