Mendenhall Glacier is the backdrop for Brotherhood Park, named for the Alaska Native Brotherhood, and is a favorite wildflower walk in Juneau. Fireweed blooms are preceded by wild irises, Alaska cotton and Chocolate Lilies. The Mendenhall Glacier is one of the few Alaskan glacier accessible by road and the third most popular tourist attraction in Alaska.
