Killer Whales,Alaska – Image 2489

I photograph whales as often as I can. Jim Collins from Allen Marine is my one of my favorite guys to go whale watching with. We are both wildlife junkies. I love to come back with wonderful photos, but the majority of the trips do not produce anything, and we really don’t care. Being on the water and on the quest is enough. But, this trip worked really well. To get the whales to align with the glacier in the background sets the scene for illustrating the fact that this pair of killer whales was photographed in Alaska. This season I started a line of postcards with this image being one in a line of 42 different styles.
