I shot this photo while camping along the shores of Icy Strait. I go to this area to mostly photograph humpback whales which hang out in large number in the summer. I was only able to stay with these killer whales for about an hour before they moved on. This photo illustrates page 64 in my book, Glacier Bay National Park: Alaska.
