Harbor seal, Tracy Arm, Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness, Alaska – Image 2787

I photographed this harbor seal in the ice in Tracy Arm. What makes this photo for me is the big beautiful round eyes of the seal and red color of the water. The red color comes from a cliff wall right behind the seal. The whole cliff is red with iron and casts a red reflection on the water. The image illustrates the month of April in my Southeast Alaska 2013 Calendar. Enjoy and the photo and thanks for visiting.
