Glacier Bay – A UNESCO Marine World Heritage Site

Apr 28, 2015

I have spent more than eight months of time photographing Glacier Bay over the years and it holds a special place in my heart. It is a wild land of silence and glacial thunder. Last year I was contacted by UNESCO and Jaeger-LeCoultre to help them with their mission to bring more attention to Glacier Bay and other Marine World Heritage Sites. We spent several days together filming and shooting stills for their project. I am happy to be making a cameo appearance in the resulting video. Note the great Jaeger-LeCoultre watch I am wearing! The release of the video coincided with Earth Day last week, and featured an exhibit at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique in New York of my images from the Glacier Bay shoot. Celebrate Glacier Bay with UNESCO and Jaeger-LeCoultre. Thank you for visiting markkelley.com!
