“Fogged Over” Auke Bay, Juneau, Alaska – Image 2981

Oct 19, 2016

Recently, I moved from downtown Juneau (Starr Hill) to out the road about 15 miles. I think I have one of the most beautiful commutes in the world.  I shot this sunrise lighting up the fog in Auke Bay just two-miles into my seven-mile commute.  Juneau’s new state museum, which opened in 2016, used this image as the wall mural for their nautical-theme children’s room. The image illustrates the month of March in my 2017 Juneau Calendar. Enjoy the photo.
