Although it is very much spring weather at sea level, there is still a ton of snow at Eaglecrest. It is the area’s final weekend. Eaglecrest will be open this Thursday and closing for the season on Sunday. I shot this image of my son, Owen, tearing up the powder a couple of years ago. The image could have easily been shot this year as it has been a great snow year. On Saturday the area is bringing back the ever popular Slush Cup at 1:00 pm and spectators are encouraged.
