R.T. “Skip” Wallen bronze bear sculpture in front of the Alaska state capital building is the locals and tourists’ favorite piece of public art in Juneau. A group of local citizens in Juneau is trying to line up money for his next project which will be a life-scale bronze sculpture of a breaching humpback whale jumping out of a reflecting pool on the Juneau waterfront. For more information on the proposed project go to the Juneau Arts and Humanities website at www.jahc.org. Enjoy the photo and thanks for visiting.
