Ice Caves

February 2014
It has been cold and clear for most of February.  The days are getting longer and the sun has been out most of the time. Mendenhall Lake has been frozen for a while now, giving easy access to the ice caves of the Mendenhall Glacier.  All of Juneau is turning out to visit, making it hard for me to take great photos.  I guess I just have to enjoy visiting the caves instead of trying to see them through my lens and working all the time.  My friend Skip took this photo.
